Project Overview

The Wishing Well is a bespoke online presence for a Malta‐based gifting and events consultancy. The goal of the project was to craft a visually engaging, user‐friendly, and fully responsive website that highlights the brand’s unique offerings, showcases past events, and provides a seamless pathway for clients to inquire and place orders.

Discovery & Planning

Conducted stakeholder interviews to define brand values and target audience.

Mapped out user journeys and created a detailed site architecture.

Crafted wireframes for desktop and mobile breakpoints.

Developed a clean, image‐forward mockup in Adobe XD, prioritizing readability and intuitive navigation.

Development & Implementation

Coded the front end using HTML5, CSS3 (with a utility‐driven framework), and vanilla JavaScript for interactive elements.

Integrated WordPress as a headless CMS, enabling the client to manage Services, Portfolio, Testimonials, and Blog with ease.

Performed cross‐browser and device testing (desktop, tablet, smartphones).

Conducted accessibility audits to ensure compliance with WCAG AA guidelines.

Deployment & Maintenance

Deployed to a managed Linux server with SSL, CDN integration, and weekly backups.
Provided client training and a 30-day post-launch support period.
